The UNAIDS Strategy for 2016-2021 has already been released. The Strategy is an update and extension of the UNAIDS Strategy for 2011-2015 to guide progress towards several ambitious “Fast-Track” targets to end the AIDS epidemic by 2030. Developed through an inclusive process which included multi-stakeholder consultations at the regional and global levels, the Strategy came under increased pressure from some member states to rollback progressive languages such as sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), comprehensive sexuality education (CSE) and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT). The link to the Strategy is here.
