Mujeres Adelante, a newsletter published by the AIDS Legal Network and ATHENA, aims to bring the voices and realities of women from research, policy, advocacy and grassroots communities worldwide together in thoughtful, provocative and times-relevant discourses on the state of women, human rights, HIV, gender equity, health, the legal environment and beyond to regional and global conferences.
The UNAIDS PCB NGO Delegation is pleased to share the ICASA 2011 edition of Mujeres Adelante with you. Topics covered include HIV prevention for women, the state of the HIV epidemic among young women, problems with vertical transmission programmes and women’s human rights in the AIDS response in Africa.
Back issues can be found on the ATHENA website.
