Outcomes of the 25th PCB Meeting

The 25th UNAIDS Board (PCB) Meeting took place in Geneva between December 8-11. The agenda focused on the Second Independent Evaluation (SIE) of UNAIDS and the impact of the financial crisis on the AIDS response. The meeting also included discussions around the Operational plan for UNAIDS Action Framework: Addressing Women, Girls, Gender Equality and HIV, promoting the rights of men who have sex with men and transgender persons, and a renewed focus on prevention sparked from the report given by the Executive Director at the start of the meeting.
